* WHAT...Flooding and flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible. * WHERE...A portion of south central Texas, including the following counties, Atascosa, Bandera, Bastrop, Bexar, Blanco, Burnet, Caldwell, Comal, De Witt, Fayette, Frio, Gillespie, Gonzales, Guadalupe, Hays, Karnes, Kendall, Kerr, Lavaca, Lee, Llano, Medina, Travis, Williamson and Wilson. * WHEN...From 7 PM CDT this evening through Monday evening. * IMPACTS...There is a potential for life threatening flooding somewhere in the watch area. Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Low-water crossings may be flooded. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Showers and thunderstorms will be capable of producing high rainfall rates which could quickly lead to flooding across the area. Be especially cautious as creeks, streams, and rivers may rise out of their banks quickly. Rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches with isolated amounts up to 6 inches are possible for the duration of the Flood Watch. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

Potters Creek Park is a well-developed Army Corps of Engineers campground situated on the northern shore of Canyon Lake in the scenic Hill Country of South Central Texas. The park offers diverse camping options across multiple loops, including 93 single RV sites with 50-amp electric and water hookups, 5 multi-unit family sites, 10 tent-only sites with water and 15-amp electric, and 7 screened shelters. The campground features full amenities including flush restrooms with hot showers, two sanitary dump stations, and drinking water throughout. Every campsite includes a picnic table, fire ring, and grill. Recreation opportunities abound with a designated swim beach, boat ramp with dock, and fishing pier providing lake access. The surrounding area offers trails for hiking, biking, and wildlife viewing among native juniper and oak trees. Canyon Lake and the nearby Guadalupe River provide excellent fishing for bass and catfish, plus popular tubing and kayaking. Natural Bridge Caverns and the historic town of Gruene in New Braunfels are nearby attractions.

From IH-35 take FM-306 West 23 miles to Potter's Creek Road, then go south 2 miles to park entrance. From Highway 281, take FM-306 east 8 miles to Potter's Creek Road, then go south 2 miles to park entrance.
