About

Lena Creek Campground is a rustic Forest Service campground nestled along the shores of the Hamma Hamma River in the Olympic National Forest. The campground sits beneath a shaded canopy of evergreen conifers and hardwoods, providing welcome relief on warm summer days. Its location makes it an ideal basecamp for day hikers and backpackers accessing the popular Lena Lake Trail, which leads to Lower and Upper Lena Lakes and connects to routes toward The Brothers peaks. The campground operates on a first-come, first-served basis with no advance reservations accepted. Each site includes a picnic table, fire ring, and grill. Vault toilets and trash collection are provided, but there is no potable water on site, so campers must bring their own supply. The campground accommodates trailers and RVs up to 21 feet in length. Fees are $14 per night for a single site with payment via the fee machine at the nearby Lena Lake/Brothers Trailhead (cashless payment only). The campground typically sees moderate use throughout the season. Pets are welcome but must remain on leash at all times. The maximum stay is 14 consecutive nights, with a limit of 8 people per campsite.
