About

Hamma Hamma Campground is a 15-site facility nestled along the Hamma Hamma River in Olympic National Forest. Tall evergreen conifers and deciduous hardwoods create a shaded, peaceful setting for tent campers and small RV/trailer users. The campground serves as the trailhead for the Living Legacy Interpretive Trail, where the first quarter-mile is wheelchair accessible and provides scenic overlooks of the river. All sites are first-come, first-served with no advance reservations. Each site includes a picnic table and fire ring, with vault toilets available throughout the campground. Campers must bring their own drinking water as none is available on site. The paved road and compact gravel surfaces provide accessibility to the toilet facilities. The campground is open seasonally from mid-May through late October. Maximum stay is 14 days, with a limit of 8 people per site. Pets are welcome but must remain leashed. RVs and trailers up to 21 feet can be accommodated.
