Porum Landing Campground occupies a scenic stretch of shoreline on Eufaula Lake in the green hills of eastern Oklahoma. Managed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, the campground offers 49 sites scattered along the lakeshore, most with electric hookups ranging from 15 to 50 amps. Water spigots are available, though some sites share with adjacent campsites. A bathhouse provides flush toilets and showers, with an on-site dump station for RV sanitation needs. Eufaula Lake covers over 102,000 surface acres with 600+ miles of shoreline, ranging from sandy beaches to rocky bluffs. The lake is renowned for outstanding fishing, with crappie, sand bass, catfish, and black bass reaching record sizes. The campground's boat ramp provides easy lake access, and Duchess Creek Marina nearby offers additional services for boaters. The campground operates year-round, though restroom facilities are winterized from December 1 through February 28. During October through March, a volunteer host manages check-ins rather than full-time gate attendants. A reservable group picnic shelter accommodates up to 100 guests. Outside firewood is prohibited to prevent spread of invasive insects.

Directions

From Porum, Oklahoma: Take Texanna Road west for 7 miles, turn left after Sinclair towards Duchess Creek Marina, follow signs to campground. From Highway 69: Travel east 13 miles on Texanna Road. After crossing the bridge, the campground is the second entrance on the right before the Sinclair gas station.
