Open seasonally from April 1 through October 31. Reservations accepted via Recreation.gov from April through September. October operates as first-come, first-served. Gate hours are 6 AM to 10 PM daily. Check-in at 6 PM, check-out at 4 PM. Maximum stay is 14 consecutive nights per 30-day period.
About
Brooken Cove Campground is nestled along the shoreline of Eufaula Lake, Oklahoma's largest lake located entirely within the state. The campground spreads across sandy beaches and wooded areas in the rolling green hills of Haskell County, offering direct access to over 600 miles of shoreline and 102,000 surface acres of water. The campground features 73 sites with electric hookups (up to 50 amp) and water connections, with some sites sharing water spigots. Nine pull-through sites accommodate larger rigs, and one site is ADA accessible. Two large reservable group picnic shelters can accommodate 75 and 100 guests respectively. Amenities include flush restrooms, showers, a dump station, boat ramp, playground, and beach access. Eufaula Lake is renowned for its outstanding fishery, with crappie, sand bass, catfish, and black bass reaching record sizes. Below the dam, striped bass over 40 pounds have been caught. Hiking trails wind through the surrounding hills and along the shoreline. Nearby attractions include Robber's Cave State Park and the historic town of Eufaula with antique shops and restaurants.
