The Pomme de Terre State Park Shelter is a day-use picnic facility situated on the Pittsburg side of the park with views of the 7,800-acre Pomme de Terre Lake. The open-air shelter measures 44 by 22 feet and can accommodate gatherings of up to 75 people, making it ideal for family reunions, group outings, and special events.
The shelter is equipped with 12 picnic tables, electricity, water access, and an outdoor grill. A restroom is available nearby. Additional amenities in the area include beach access (0.5 mile), boat ramp (0.2 mile), marina store (0.6 mile), and trail access (0.2 mile).
This is strictly a day-use rental and overnight camping is not permitted at this facility. Those seeking overnight accommodations should look into the park's campgrounds, yurts, camper cabins, or lake house available elsewhere in the park.
