About
Lightfoot Landing sits on the shores of Pomme de Terre Lake, a 7,790-acre reservoir fed by the Pomme de Terre River and Lindley Creek in Missouri's Ozark hills. The campground's smaller size compared to neighboring facilities makes it a quieter option for anglers and boaters seeking access to the lake. All 35 sites feature electric (including 50-amp) and water hookups on gravel pads, with a mix of pull-through and back-in configurations accommodating RVs up to 45 feet. The facility includes a shower house, dump station, boat ramp with courtesy dock, playground, horseshoe pits, and a reservable picnic shelter. One site is ADA accessible. Pomme de Terre Lake is renowned for fishing, boasting one of the highest catch ratios in the country. The lake is stocked with muskie each fall and holds healthy populations of bass, walleye, crappie, and catfish. Power boating, water skiing, and canoeing are popular on the expansive waters.
