About

Osage Bluff Park occupies a scenic location on Harry S. Truman Lake in the rolling hills and rocky bluffs of western Missouri's Ozark Plateau. The campground features 60 total sites, including 25 sites with 50-amp and water, 7 sites with 50-amp, 24 sites with 30-amp electric, and 4 primitive non-electric sites. Mature hardwoods of oak and hickory with cedar trees provide shade throughout the park. The adjacent Osage Bluff Marina offers convenient boat services for campers. Harry S. Truman Lake is an excellent fishing destination and popular for tournament fishermen, with abundant crappie, bass, walleye, paddlefish, blue catfish and channel catfish. Approximately 8,800 acres of standing timber were left in the lake to provide quality aquatic habitat. Wildlife viewing opportunities include whitetail deer, turkey, hawks, ospreys, bald eagles, and various waterfowl. The campground provides modern amenities including flush toilets, showers, drinking water, laundry facilities, dump station, and playground. All 950 miles of Truman Lake shoreline offer opportunities for boating, swimming, hunting, and exploring. The Harry S. Truman Visitor Center sits atop nearby Kaysinger Bluff with spectacular views and exhibits on the Osage River Valley history.
