About

Pete's Draw Campground offers both day-use and overnight camping opportunities managed by the Bureau of Land Management near Alcova, Wyoming. The campground sits along the scenic North Platte River in Natrona County, providing access to excellent fishing and boating opportunities. The facility includes seven overnight campsites, each equipped with a picnic table, fire ring, shelter, tent pad, and RV parking space. A vault toilet and trash receptacle serve the camping area. A hardened pedestrian trail provides easy walking access, and the surrounding area offers excellent wildlife viewing and photography opportunities. The campground receives its heaviest visitation during spring and early summer months. The day-use area is separate from the overnight camping area and offers free access for picnicking and river activities. No overnight parking is permitted in the day-use area.
