About

Pebble Ford Campground is a small, intimate campground nestled along a creek in Mount Hood National Forest's Barlow Ranger District. The sites are shaded by large, old-growth trees, creating a cool, forested atmosphere ideal for escaping summer heat. The campground is well-positioned for mountain biking enthusiasts, located near popular trails off Forest Road 44 that are maintained with help from the 44 Trails Association. The area between Eightmile Creek and Ramsey Creek also offers opportunities for stream fishing and day hiking. This is a primitive campground with vault toilets but no potable water. Campers must bring their own drinking water. The 16-foot vehicle length limit makes this campground unsuitable for larger RVs or trailers. All sites operate on a first-come, first-served basis with no advance reservations available.
