About

Parvin State Park Campground sits along the south shore of Parvin Lake in Salem County, about five miles west of Vineland and 40 miles south of Philadelphia. The 56-site campground accommodates both tents and trailers, with each site equipped with a fire ring, picnic table, and lantern hook. Flush toilets and showers are conveniently located within walking distance, and a playground is nearby for families. Beyond the main campground, the park offers 4 group campsites that can each hold up to 25 people, plus 18 furnished cabins on the north shore of Thundergust Lake. The cabins include a living room with wood-burning fireplace, two bedrooms, a full kitchen with electric stove and refrigerator, and a private bathroom with shower. Two ADA-accessible cabins accommodate up to 6 people. The park encompasses over 2,000 acres of forests, wetlands, and streams, with trails for hiking and opportunities for fishing and boating on the lakes. Designated pet-friendly campsites (sites 35-56) allow up to two dogs or cats per permit with proof of current rabies vaccination.

Directions

From Vineland, take NJ Route 540 west approximately 5 miles. The park entrance is at 701 Almond Road, Pittsgrove, NJ 08318.
