Open for the season mid-April through mid-December. Maximum stay is 14 nights in summer, 21 nights off-season. Campers must vacate for 48 hours between stays. Reservations available via ReserveAmerica up to 11 months in advance.

Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Parker Dam State Park is a 968-acre Pennsylvania state park offering old-fashioned charm in the heart of the Allegheny Plateau. The campground features 133 sites ranging from completely shaded to open grassy locations along the eastern shore of a scenic 20-acre lake. Accommodations include 22 full-hookup sites with water, sewer, and electricity; 60 modern electric sites with 30 or 50-amp service; 23 non-electric sites; and 2 tent-only sites. Rustic cabins and organized group tenting areas are also available. Facilities include modern restrooms with flush toilets, hot showers, a sanitary dump station, coin-operated laundry, playground, and a seasonal camp store. The campground operates from mid-April through mid-December with a 14-day maximum stay in summer and 21 days off-season. Pets are welcome on designated sites. Beyond camping, the park provides access to swimming, boating on the electric-motor-only lake, fishing, and an extensive trail network including the western trailhead of the 73-mile Quehanna Trail System. The adjacent Moshannon State Forest and 50,000-acre Quehanna Wilderness offer backcountry exploration.
Directions
From I-80 Exit 111, take PA Route 153 North for 5.5 miles. Turn right onto Mud Run Road and drive 2.5 miles to the park entrance.
