About

Nestled in the mountains of north central Pennsylvania, Sizerville State Park campground offers a tranquil retreat for tent campers and RV enthusiasts alike. The campground features 18 modern electric sites with 50-amp service accommodating RVs up to 40 feet, plus 5 secluded walk-in tent sites along a streamside setting. All sites include fire rings and picnic tables, with access to flush toilets, hot showers, and a sanitary dump station. The 386-acre park is nearly surrounded by Elk State Forest, providing endless opportunities for hiking, fishing, hunting, and wildlife watching. A swimming pool offers a refreshing escape during summer months, while an outdoor amphitheater hosts interpretive programs. The area is known for its remote, mountainous character with limited cell service, so visitors should download maps before arrival. The campground operates seasonally from early April through mid-December. Maximum stays are 14 days during summer and 21 days during off-season, with a mandatory 48-hour vacancy between reservations. Pets are welcome on designated campsites for an additional nightly fee.
