Panther Creek Campground sits at the intersection of Panther Creek and the Pacific Crest Trail within the Gifford Pinchot National Forest. The 33 back-in campsites are spread through a thick forest of cedars, ash, firs, and alder, with premium sites located adjacent to the creek. Parking spurs range from 20 to 40 feet, with a maximum vehicle length of 25 feet. The campground operates from late May through September and features potable water from a hand pump and vault toilets. A camp host is present during the season, and firewood is available for purchase. Dogs are permitted on leash. Panther Creek Falls is accessible via an easy hike 4.7 miles upstream on Forest Road 65. The Pacific Crest Trail passes nearby, offering access to the 2,663-mile trail spanning Mexico to Canada. The town of Carson is a short drive away, known for its hot springs, dining, and amenities.

Directions

From Carson, WA, drive north on Wind River Highway for about 4 miles to Panther Creek Road. Turn right onto Forest Road 65 and follow for approximately 4 miles to the campground.
