About

Goose Lake Campground is a walk-in tent camping destination situated on a scenic lake in the Mt. Adams area of Gifford Pinchot National Forest. The campground features level sites carved into the hillside, each providing views of the lake below. Parking is roadside, and all sites require a short walk-in. RVs are not accommodated. The lake itself is a highlight, stocked with fish multiple times throughout the season and popular for non-motorized boating and swimming. A day use area near the campground provides a boat ramp, picnic tables, and vault toilets. The surrounding forest offers wildlife viewing opportunities. This is a first-come, first-served campground with no advance reservations. No potable water is available, so campers must bring their own. Quiet hours are enforced from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. The campground is operated by concessionaire ExplorUS.
