Paddy Creek Campground

Open

About

Paddy Creek Campground sits nestled in a hollow along Paddy Creek, a crystal-clear stream that flows year-round with wading opportunities and a few swimming holes. Located one hour southwest of Rolla and about an hour from Fort Leonard Wood, this is one of the most scenic areas in Mark Twain National Forest. The campground is directly adjacent to the eastern boundary of the 7,019-acre Paddy Creek Wilderness. The campground features 18 single sites and 1 double site, all with asphalt parking pads accommodating RVs up to 34 feet. Each site includes a picnic table, fire ring, and lantern post. Vault toilets are available and ADA accessible, but there is no potable water on site. Garbage removal is provided. Paddy Creek Trail offers spectacular scenic overlooks and the campground serves as one of three trailheads for the 18-mile Big Piney Trail system. Dispersed camping opportunities exist within the adjacent wilderness. Quiet hours are 10 PM to 6 AM, and dogs must remain on a six-foot or shorter leash when outside tents.
