About

Outlet Campground is located along 110 Mile Creek in eastern Kansas at Pomona Lake, a 4,000-acre reservoir managed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. The heavily shaded campground appeals to family campers, anglers, and water sport enthusiasts seeking a peaceful retreat among the rolling hills, mixed grasslands, and forests of Osage County. All 34 campsites feature electric hookups (20/30/50 amp service) and water connections, with fire rings and picnic tables at each site. The campground offers both pull-through and back-in sites accommodating RVs up to 40 feet. Facilities include flush and vault toilets, a shower building, dump station, laundry, playground, nature trail, and boat ramp. Pomona Lake offers excellent fishing for crappie, walleye, and channel catfish. Bald eagles, white-tailed deer, Canada geese, and wild turkey inhabit the area. Three nearby trails provide hiking opportunities: Deer Creek Nature Trail and Witches' Broom Trail for short walks, and the 33-mile Black Hawk Trail loop for hiking, horseback riding, and mountain biking. The town of Lyndon is less than 10 miles away with limited services.
