About

Outlet Campground is located along 110 Mile Creek at Pomona Lake in the rolling hills and forests of eastern Kansas. The campground offers 34 campsites, all with electric and water hookups, plus two group picnic shelters. Amenities include flush and vault toilets, a shower building, laundry facilities, dump station, playground, nature trail, and boat ramp. The heavily shaded, secluded setting appeals to families, anglers, and water sports enthusiasts. Pomona Lake covers 4,000 acres and offers excellent fishing for crappie, walleye, and channel catfish. Three trails provide hiking, horseback riding, and mountain biking opportunities, including the 33-mile Black Hawk Trail loop. Wildlife viewing is excellent, with bald eagles, white-tailed deer, Canada geese, and wild turkey commonly observed. A visitor center near the park provides educational displays about the lake's environment.
