Oak Park Day Use
Open for the 2026 season. Operating hours are 10:00am to sunset daily through September 30. This is a day-use only facility; no overnight camping is permitted.
About
Oak Park Day Use is located on the northeastern shore of Navarro Mills Lake, operated by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. This day-use facility provides access to one of the lake's swimming beaches along with picnic areas and restroom facilities. The area is popular with visitors from the Dallas-Fort Worth metro area seeking a quick escape. The site is open seasonally from April 1 through September 30, with daily hours from 10:00am to sunset. Day use fees are $5 per vehicle or $2 per person for walk-in/bike-in visitors. This is strictly a day-use area; overnight camping is not allowed. Campers seeking overnight accommodations should check nearby Oak Campground, which has its own designated swim beach for registered campers.
Directions
From Waco or Corsicana, take State Highway 31 to the intersection with FM 667 (about 3 miles east of Dawson). Turn north on FM 667 and travel about 1.5 miles to the park entrance on the left side of the road.
