About
Norway Lake Campground sits 8 miles southeast of Sidnaw in Iron County within the Kenton Ranger District of Ottawa National Forest. The two-loop campground features 27 drive-in sites naturally screened by vegetation beneath towering red pines. Each site includes a picnic table, fire ring, lantern post, and parking spur, accommodating tents, trailers, and motorhomes.
Three sets of double vault toilets serve the campground near sites #13 and #20, with potable water available from a hand pump near site #16. A picnic shelter provides a gathering space within the loops. Adjacent to the campground, visitors will find a boat landing with parking areas and a change house for lake access.
Norway Lake offers excellent fishing opportunities for those seeking a remote getaway. A hiking trail departs from the area, crossing a puncheon bridge over a beaver dam and passing two viewing platforms through pine forest and northern hardwoods along the shore of Deer Marsh.
