About
North Klondike Campground serves as a mountain biker's paradise with campsites positioned a short ride from the North Klondike trail system. The Klondike Bluffs area offers 50+ miles of singletrack mountain bike trails ranging from fast flowy singletrack to tight and technical riding opportunities. While mountain biking is the primary draw, the campground provides easy reach to other world-renowned Moab trail systems, Arches and Canyonlands National Parks, and hundreds of miles of 4x4, ATV, side-by-side and motorcycle trails.
The main campground offers 25 individual campsites available exclusively on a first-come, first-served basis. Visitors must physically arrive at the campground to claim and pay for a site using the Recreation.gov mobile app via QR code. Each individual campsite features a gravel parking pad for two vehicles, picnic table, fire ring, and close proximity to vault toilets and trash receptacles. Additionally, two group campsites are available for reservation, each accommodating up to six vehicles with fire rings, BBQ grills, multiple picnic tables, shade shelters, and vault toilet access.
While relaxing in camp, visitors enjoy spectacular views of Copper Ridge, the surrounding bluffs, and the distant La Sal mountains. The campground is located within 1 mile of Copper Ridge Dinosaur Tracks and the Dinosaur Stomping Grounds trailheads. There is no drinking water or electrical hookups at this campground, and visitors should plan accordingly. During spring and fall, a volunteer campground host may be stationed on-site to assist with trip planning and campground information.
