Reservations open March 1 for stays through October 31, available up to 6 months in advance via Recreation.gov. Winter campers should download the Recreation.gov app before arriving for scan and pay functionality.

Devils Garden Campground provides the only developed camping option within Arches National Park, located 18 miles from the park entrance and 23 miles from Moab. Situated at approximately 5,200 feet elevation, the campground is nestled among the park's iconic sandstone arches, fins, and slickrock outcroppings, surrounded by stands of Utah juniper and pinyon pine. The campground features 51 campsites, including 2 ADA accessible sites and 2 group sites (Canyon Wren for up to 35 people and Juniper Basin for up to 55 people). Standard sites accommodate up to 10 people and 2 vehicles, with RV and trailer lengths ranging from 20 to 40 feet. No hookups are available. The Broken Arch Trail loop begins directly from the campground, providing convenient access to backcountry exploration. Campers will find both flush and vault toilets year-round, picnic tables, grills, and fire rings at each site. Firewood must be purchased (collecting is prohibited). The campground operates under two seasonal systems: reservable sites from March 1 through October 31 (bookable up to 6 months in advance) and first-come, first-served from November 1 through February 28. During the reservation season, sites typically fill months in advance. The desert environment brings hot summers often exceeding 100°F and cold winters with temperatures dropping to 0-20°F.

Directions

From I-70, take Exit 182 and travel south for 26 miles to the park entrance. From Moab, take Highway 191 north for 4.5 miles to the park entrance. Follow the main park road 18 miles and follow signs for the campground.
