Gums Crossing Campground sits on the quiet northeast shore of Grenada Lake near Coffeeville, Mississippi. This small, remote campground offers just six Class A campsites, each equipped with water and electric hookups and paved driveway access. Hot showers are available on-site. A boat ramp provides direct access to Grenada Lake, a 35,000-acre U.S. Army Corps of Engineers reservoir known for excellent bass, crappie, and catfish fishing.
The campground accommodates tents, RVs, trailers, and camper vans. Pets are permitted on leash. Peak season runs March 1 through October 31 at $14 per night. A two-night minimum applies on weekends and three nights on holiday weekends. Maximum stay is 14 consecutive days, after which campers must depart for 14 days before returning. Quiet hours are 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM.
Note that the Gums Crossing bridge is currently closed, requiring an alternate route to reach the campground. Access from Highway 330 is not possible. Contact the Grenada Lake office for current access directions.
