Riffle Run Campground occupies a scenic wooded setting on the northern shore of Burnsville Lake, a Corps of Engineers impoundment on the Little Kanawha River in the foothills of the Allegheny Mountains. The campground provides 54 full-hookup sites with 50-amp electric service, water, and sewer connections, along with 6 primitive tent sites tucked into the surrounding forest near the Burnsville Dam. On-site amenities include a bath house with showers, laundry facilities, sewage dump stations, and potable water fill-up stations. Two playgrounds are located within the campground, and a boat ramp sits just before the entrance. The nearby marina offers boat and jet ski rentals. Over 100 miles of hiking and biking trails wind through the surrounding Wildlife Management Area, and the lake provides opportunities for fishing, swimming, and boating. The campground operates on a first-come, first-served basis with no advance reservations accepted. Campers are limited to 14 consecutive nights per 30-day period. Quiet hours run from 10 PM to 6 AM. Pets are welcome but must be leashed under six feet and cleaned up after.

From I-79 Exit 79, proceed toward the Exxon Station, then turn right at the stop sign and travel approximately 3 miles to the campground.
