Frostbite and hypothermia will occur if unprotected skin is exposed to these temperatures.

Areas of blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions could impact the Monday morning commute.

New Prospect Horseriders' Campground is a specialized equestrian facility located in the heart of Kettle Moraine State Forest - Northern Unit. The campground features 22 family campsites, each with 20/30/50-amp electric service, picnic table, fire ring, and a 30x30-foot graveled area with high-line hitching posts. Sites include either 10x10-foot or 12x12-foot pipe corrals for horses. Three group sites accommodate up to 20 people each, with multiple corrals or tether post areas. The campground provides vault toilets, drinking water, an open-air picnic shelter, and a covered stable building with 24 box stalls. Manure bunkers are located throughout the campground, with wheelbarrows and forks provided for horse owners. Campers can use the shower facility at nearby Mauthe Lake Campground. The location offers direct access to 33 miles of bridle trails running the length of the state forest, plus the 2.5-mile Crooked Lake Loop and 4-mile Forest Lake Loop. A state trail pass is required for all riders age 16 and over.
