The group campground at Kohler-Andrae State Park provides an excellent base for groups seeking a Lake Michigan camping experience. The facility features two group campsites that can accommodate a combined total of 50 people, with tent camping only permitted in this area. Vault toilets serve the group camping area. Both group sites A and B are plowed during winter, making year-round group camping possible for those prepared for cold-weather conditions. Kohler-Andrae State Park itself is a scenic gem on Wisconsin's eastern shore, offering 2.5 miles of golden sandy beaches along Lake Michigan, majestic sand dunes, and diverse ecosystems including pine forests and the Black River Marsh. The park provides numerous recreational opportunities including swimming at pristine beaches, hiking through wooded trails and expansive boardwalks, and wildlife viewing. The park is located just south of Sheboygan in eastern Wisconsin, combining natural beauty with convenient access. Firewood is available for purchase at the park office during operating hours.

From Elkhart Lake, take County Road A west to County Road J. Continue one mile northwest on County Road J to the park.
