About

Harrington Beach State Park Campground offers 69 family campsites on a 715-acre property along Lake Michigan's western shore in Ozaukee County. The campground includes 31 sites with electric hookups and the remainder as primitive non-electric sites, plus five walk-in tent sites. All sites are suitable for RVs and trailers. A group campsite accommodates up to 30 visitors, and a kayak-in site is available for paddlers traveling the Lake Michigan shoreline. During the operating season, the campground provides flush toilets and hot showers in a modern restroom facility, along with a dump station and freshwater fill-up station. The park's diverse landscapes include over a mile of sandy Lake Michigan beach, a scenic 26-acre limestone quarry lake surrounded by white cedar swamp, restored wetland ponds, and old field grasslands. An accessible cabin designed for visitors with disabilities is also available through the partnership between Wisconsin DNR and Friends of Harrington Beach State Park. Reservations can be made up to 11 months in advance online or by calling Wisconsin State Parks reservations. Each campsite includes a campfire ring and picnic table. The park's location between Port Washington and the Town of Belgium makes it a popular destination for both Milwaukee-area residents and travelers exploring Wisconsin's Lake Michigan coastline.

Directions
