Frostbite and hypothermia will occur if unprotected skin is exposed to these temperatures.

Areas of blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions could impact the Monday morning commute.

Mauthe Lake Campground is a year-round destination in Wisconsin's Kettle Moraine State Forest Northern Unit, offering 135 reservable campsites including 51 with electrical hookups. The campground is situated within the scenic Mauthe Lake Recreation Area, providing easy access to the 70-acre kettle lake and its sandy beach. Modern amenities include a shower building with flush toilets in the 300 loop, vault toilets throughout the campground, and a sanitary dump station for registered campers. The recreation area offers diverse activities including swimming at the beach with playground equipment, fishing from the accessible pier or spillway dam, and boating on the no-wake lake (gas motors prohibited). Seasonal concessions and kayak/canoe rentals are available during warmer months. The campground serves as an excellent base for exploring the extensive trail network throughout the state forest, including access to the Ice Age National Scenic Trail. ADA-accessible campsites are available, and recycling/garbage stations are provided for campers.
