About

New Fork Campground is a primitive BLM-managed campground situated at 6,800 feet elevation along the scenic New Fork River in Sublette County, Wyoming. The campground offers just two campsites with picnic tables and a vault toilet, making it an ideal spot for those seeking a quiet, undeveloped camping experience away from crowds. The site's primary draw is its location as a put-in and takeout point for river float trips on the New Fork River. Anglers will appreciate the direct river access for fishing, while wildlife enthusiasts can enjoy observing the diverse species that frequent the riparian corridor. Other activities include hiking, biking, horseback riding, and photography. This is a no-fee, first-come, first-served campground with no reservations available. Given its remote location and limited facilities, campers should arrive self-sufficient with their own water supply and be prepared for a primitive camping experience.
