About

New Fork Lake Campground is a primitive lakeside campground located directly on the shore of New Fork Lake in Wyoming's Bridger-Teton National Forest. Set among a grove of aspens, the 15-site campground provides immediate access to the 1,070-acre lake and an adjacent sandy day-use beach. The setting offers excellent fishing opportunities for kokanee salmon along with brook, lake, and rainbow trout via shore fishing, wade fishing, or boat. This is a primitive campground with vault toilets but no potable water. Campers must bring their own drinking water or treat water from nearby sources. The campground operates on a pack-it-in, pack-it-out basis with no garbage service available. Proper food storage is required due to bear activity. The access road is unpaved. A boat ramp serving the lake is located approximately 1.5 miles from the campground at the northwestern shore. Additional activities include swimming, canoeing, hiking, mountain biking, and wildlife viewing. Pets are allowed but must be leashed. No livestock including horses, mules, llamas, or alpacas are permitted in the campground.
