About
Nevada Beach Campground is situated on National Forest lands along the eastern shore of Lake Tahoe, three miles north of Stateline, Nevada. The campground offers 54 campsites nestled among native pine trees at an elevation of 6,100 feet, with many sites providing direct views of the lake. Sites on the loop furthest from the lake provide the most privacy between campsites, and all parking spurs are paved to accommodate RVs up to 45 feet in length. Each campsite is equipped with a picnic table, campfire ring with grill, and accommodates up to six people and two vehicles. The campground provides accessible flush toilets and drinking water via hand pumps. Leashed pets are allowed in the campground but not permitted on the beach or in picnic areas. The maximum stay is 14 days. The adjacent Nevada Beach stretches nearly a mile along Lake Tahoe's shoreline and is wider than most other beaches on the lake. The 22-mile-long lake offers swimming, boating, water skiing, and fishing for kokanee salmon, mackinaw, rainbow and brown trout. The nearby 2.6-mile Lam Wa Tah Trail provides scenic lake views. The subdued atmosphere makes this a quieter alternative to busier Lake Tahoe beaches, while restaurants and casinos in nearby Stateline provide additional amenities.
