About

Morrows Bridge seasonal camp is located in the western portion of the Long Cane Ranger District within Sumter National Forest. This primitive campground caters specifically to hunters, offering basic facilities in a forested setting renowned for abundant wildlife populations including deer, turkey, and quail. The surrounding forest places it among the most desirable hunting areas in the South Carolina upstate. The campground operates as a first-come, first-served facility with a self-serve fee station. South Carolina hunting regulations apply, and shooting is not permitted within 300 yards of camp. Off-highway vehicles are allowed only on designated OHV trails. Several check stations and supply stores are located in the area for hunter convenience. Campers should be prepared for primitive conditions as the facility does not provide potable water or restrooms. This is a true backcountry experience designed for self-sufficient hunters seeking access to excellent hunting grounds during the fall and early winter hunting season.
