Amenities include potable water from a hand pump and vault toilets. The campground operates on a first-come, first-served basis with no reservations accepted. The Pearson Creek Trailhead lies adjacent to the campground, providing access to backcountry trails, though hikers should be prepared for a river ford at the start. The Greys River corridor is known for excellent fishing, wildlife viewing, and dispersed recreation opportunities. After the seasonal closure in late October, the gate remains open for off-season use at no charge, though water is shut off, restrooms are locked, and trash service is discontinued.
