About
Mohican Cabins at Mohican State Park consist of 25 riverfront cottages situated in a wooded area along the Clear Fork of the Mohican River in north-central Ohio. Each cottage accommodates up to six guests with two bedrooms and a sofa bed in the living room. The fully furnished units include a kitchen with stove, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, and coffee maker, plus a bathroom with shower. The living area features a gas fireplace and TV/DVD player, and each cottage has a screened-in porch with a picnic table. The cottages are heated for year-round use and come equipped with bed linens, towels, blankets, and cooking utensils. Four of the 25 cottages are designated as pet-friendly. Reservations can be made up to 12 months in advance through ReserveOhio. Mohican State Park encompasses over 1,100 acres adjacent to the 4,700-acre Mohican-Memorial State Forest, providing extensive opportunities for hiking on more than 50 miles of multi-use trails. The Clear Fork Gorge, a designated State Scenic River, offers dramatic scenery with 300-foot cliffs and old-growth hemlock forest. Activities include fishing, canoeing, and exploring the covered bridge and waterfalls within the park.
Directions
From State Route 3, head west of Loudonville, Ohio. The park entrance is accessible from State Route 3. Follow signs to the campground and cottage area along the river.
