About
Located in the Pike National Forest's South Platte Ranger District, Meridian Campground offers 18 first-come, first-served campsites at 9,000 feet elevation near the community of Harris Park. Each campsite features a parking spur, picnic table, and fire ring. The campground provides two vault toilets at different locations and hand pump potable water during the main season.
The campground operates from late May to late September, weather dependent. Full services including water, trash, and a campground host are available from Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day weekend, with an extended season in spring and fall when some services may be limited. Payment can be made by cash, check, money order, or using the Recreation.gov mobile app's Scan and Pay feature.
Each site accommodates up to 8 people with a maximum of 2 tents and 2 vehicles or 1 RV. A third vehicle requires an additional fee. The campground is accessed via Park County Route 43 from US Highway 285 at Crow Hill. Dogs are welcome but must be leashed at all times.
