About

Echo Lake Campground is located on the Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forests in central Colorado at 10,600 feet elevation. The campground sits in a spruce forest near the shores of Echo Lake at the base of Mount Blue Sky along Highway 103. Its high elevation creates cool to chilly nights even in summer, and the mountain pass location brings windy conditions year-round. The campground offers 17 sites: 10 suitable for RV camping with parking lengths ranging from 20 to 55 feet, and 7 tent-only sites. Each site is equipped with a picnic table and campfire ring. Facilities include vault toilets, potable water from hand pumps, and trash service. There are no electric, water, or sewer hookups. Mount Evans Road (Highway 5) allows visitors to drive from 10,500 to 14,130 feet in just 14 miles. The Denver Mountain Park, Echo Lake, and Echo Lake Lodge are located adjacent to the campground.
