About

Marble Beach State Recreation Area sits on the western shore of West Okoboji Lake, one of the clearest natural lakes in the Midwest and a premier destination for water recreation in Iowa. The campground is the largest in the Iowa Great Lakes region with 122 campsites, including 68 full hookup sites with 50-amp electric, water, and sewer, plus additional electric and non-electric options. Pull-through sites accommodate rigs up to 80 feet. The renovated campground features well-shaded sites along paved roads, modern restroom and shower facilities, and a sanitary dump station. Paved trails connect to the regional trail network for hiking and biking. Water access includes boat launch ramps, docks, and a swimming beach directly on West Okoboji Lake, supporting boating, fishing, kayaking, jet skiing, and swimming. The campground is 100% reservable through ReserveAmerica. Peak season runs May 1 through October 15, with reduced off-peak rates in April and late October. The campground closes November 1 through March 31.
