About
Manns Campground is one of three campgrounds in the Sheep Creek area of Flaming Gorge National Recreation Area within Ashley National Forest. Located at 6,040 feet elevation along Sheep Creek, the campground offers a beautiful setting near the Sheep Creek Geological Loop and Sheep Creek Bay. The flat terrain features lots of trees and bushes, with some sites offering shade. The campground sits directly next to Sheep Creek, where fishing is permitted during season. The creek runs adjacent to the campground, and children should be closely supervised while playing in or around the water. Single sites accommodate up to 10 people, while double sites can accommodate up to 20 people. The Sheep Creek area provides access to the scenic geological loop and nearby Sheep Creek Bay on Flaming Gorge Reservoir. The campground is located approximately 6.4 miles south of Manila, Utah on Highway 44.
