Nestled at the northern edge of the Uinta Mountains, Deep Creek Campground offers a serene escape for nature enthusiasts seeking a peaceful retreat. The small campground is flanked by the tranquil waters of Carter Creek and Deep Creek, providing a perfect setting for outdoor activities and relaxation with the soothing sounds of flowing water throughout your stay. The campground features 17 campsites in a lush, forested area and can accommodate RVs up to 30 feet in length. As a first-come, first-served facility, no reservations are accepted. The campground is located about 15 miles south of Manila, Utah off Highway 44, then approximately 4 miles on Forest Road 539. Nearby activities include fishing for rainbow trout in Deep Creek, OHV riding on abundant roads and nearby trails, and hiking the Elk Park Trail located about 3 miles southeast of the campground. Scenic Forest Route 221 northwest of the campground provides access to multiple forest destinations including Browne Lake, Sheep Creek Lake, Long Park Reservoir, and Spirit Lake.
Directions
From Manila, Utah, drive south on UT-44 for approximately 15 miles, then turn onto Forest Road 539 and continue for about 4 miles to reach the campground.
