About

Lyman Run State Park encompasses 595 acres of mixed northern hardwood forest surrounding the 45-acre Lyman Run Lake in the mountains of north-central Pennsylvania. The campground offers two distinct camping areas: Daggett Run Campground and Lower Campground, totaling 35 sites. Twenty-nine sites have 50-amp electric service, while six are walk-in tent sites. Each campsite includes a picnic table, fire ring, and lantern hanger. Modern shower houses provide flush toilets, hot water, and showers, and a sanitary dump station is located in the Lower Campground. The park offers swimming at a sandy beach, fishing and boating on the lake (electric motors only), and hiking trails that connect to the Susquehannock Trail System. An ATV trail head provides access to the Susquehannock ATV Trail. Pets are permitted on all sites in Lower Campground and sites 1-6 in Daggett Campground, but are prohibited from the beach and swimming area. Two ADA-accessible sites are available. Site lengths range from 32 to 134 feet, with three pull-through sites available for easier RV maneuvering.
