About
The 595-acre Lyman Run State Park is located in scenic Potter County in north central Pennsylvania. Maples and cherries dominate a mixed northern hardwood forest that surrounds the 45-acre Lyman Run Lake, creating a picturesque setting for camping and outdoor recreation. The park features two separate camping areas: Daggett Run and Lower campgrounds, with a total of 35 RV and tent campsites. Twenty-nine campsites are equipped with electricity for RVs, while six campsites are walk-ins for a more rustic experience. Each campsite includes a picnic table, fire ring, and lantern hanger. Modern shower houses with hot water, flush toilets, and showers are available in both campgrounds. A sanitary dump station is located in the Lower Campground. Pets are permitted on designated sites in both campgrounds. Beyond camping, visitors enjoy swimming, boating, and fishing on Lyman Run Lake, as well as hiking trails that connect to the Susquehannock Trail System. The park also provides access to the Susquehannock ATV Trail via a small trailhead, making it popular with off-road enthusiasts. The park is situated 15 miles east of Coudersport and seven miles west of Galeton.
