Kettle Creek State Park

Kettle Creek State Park consists of 1,793 acres along Kettle Creek in western Clinton County, nestled in a valley surrounded by mountainous terrain and wilderness. The park features two camping areas with 68 total level sites suitable for tents or trailers. The Lower Campground, located along Kettle Creek, offers 41 sites all with electric hookups and modern restrooms with showers. The Upper Campground overlooks the Alvin R. Bush Dam and Kettle Creek Reservoir, providing 27 sites with 12 having electric hookups and vault toilets available. All sites come equipped with picnic tables and fire rings, with water spigots scattered throughout both campgrounds. The park's facilities arose from a joint flood control project developed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Resources. The reservoir provides 4.5 miles of scenic shoreline for fishing and boating. A dump station is available in the Lower Campground for trailer sanitation. The park serves as a trailhead for the 53-mile Donut Hole Trail and offers several shorter trails within its boundaries.
