About

Hyner Run State Park sits in a cozy valley carved by Hyner Run through the steep surrounding mountains of Clinton County. The 180-acre park is entirely surrounded by Sproul State Forest, offering campers a secluded wilderness atmosphere with easy access to extensive trail systems and backcountry recreation. The campground provides 30 sites split between modern electric (50-amp) and modern non-electric options. Each site includes a level pad, picnic table, and fire ring. Amenities include a bathhouse with flush toilets and warm showers, potable water outlets, a sanitary dump station near the entrance, and garbage/recycling receptacles. A swimming pool is available seasonally. Pets are allowed at designated campsites for an additional fee, and ADA-accessible sites are available. The park operates seasonally from mid-April through mid-December. Reservations can be made online through ReserveAmerica or by calling 888-PA-PARKS up to 11 months in advance. A modern cabin sleeping eight is also available year-round for those seeking more amenities.
