About

Nestled within the vast Sproul State Forest in Clinton County, Hyner Run State Park offers a serene camping experience in Pennsylvania's wilderness. The campground features 30 well-maintained sites arranged in two loops, with 21 electric sites and 9 non-electric sites designed to accommodate both tent campers and RVs. Each site includes a level parking pad, picnic table, and fire ring, providing the essentials for a comfortable outdoor stay. The campground's modern amenities include warm showers, flush toilets, and multiple water outlets throughout the camping area. A sanitary dump station and garbage and recycling receptacles are conveniently located near the campground entrance. Pets are permitted at designated campsites (sites 21-30) for an additional fee. The park also features a modern cabin available for year-round rental. Outdoor recreation opportunities abound at Hyner Run State Park. The cold waters of Hyner Run provide excellent trout fishing, while miles of trails wind through the surrounding state forest. The park is close to the famous Hyner View, a renowned hang gliding launch site perched high above the West Branch Susquehanna River Valley, offering breathtaking panoramic views. The quiet, forested setting and limited cell phone service make this an ideal destination for those seeking a true escape into nature.
