Loyalhanna Lake Pavilions
This is a day-use pavilion facility, not an overnight campground. Pavilions are available for daytime group events with check-in at 8:00 AM and check-out at 9:00 PM the same day. Currently open and accepting reservations through Recreation.gov. The area may close without notice due to high water conditions.

Repetitive rounds of precipitation through Tuesday night will raise flash flood potential. * WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...Portions of east central Ohio, including the following area, Columbiana and Pennsylvania, including the following areas, Allegheny, Beaver, Higher Elevations of Westmoreland and Westmoreland. * WHEN...Through Wednesday morning. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Additional rainfall through Tuesday night is expected to average from 1.0 to 1.5 inches across the watch area. However, there is the potential for isolated locations to receive an additional 2 to 3 inches. About
Loyalhanna Lake Pavilions consists of two reservable group shelters located in a scenic valley overlooking Loyalhanna Lake in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania. Managed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Pittsburgh District, these pavilions are designed for day-use group events such as family reunions, company picnics, and community gatherings. Each pavilion features electric service and large charcoal grills for cookouts, with access to flush toilets and potable drinking water. The Dam Site and Lake Side pavilions each accommodate up to 25 people. Reservations are made through Recreation.gov. Note that these are day-use facilities only, with check-in at 8:00 AM and check-out at 9:00 PM the same day. For overnight camping at Loyalhanna Lake, campers should look to the nearby Bush Recreation Area, which offers traditional tent and RV sites.
Directions
From Pittsburgh, take I-376 E for about 12 miles, then continue onto US-22 E. Turn left at PA-981 N in New Alexandria near the Sheetz gas station. Turn left onto Bush Road, passing Mannitto Golf Course. Turn left into the Bush Recreation Area. Address: 440 Loyalhanna Dam Road, Saltsburg, PA 15681.
