About

Keystone State Park's 1,200-acre setting in the Laurel Highlands offers camping just three miles from the PA 981 and US 22 intersection. The campground operates two loops: Lakeside Campground places you steps from the lake for swimming, fishing, and boating, while Hillside Campground provides a quieter, more remote camping experience and is the designated area for campers with pets. Both campgrounds include modern bathhouses with shower facilities and fire rings with grills at every site. ADA-accessible sites are available in both loops, with Site 33 in Lakeside and Site 89 in Hillside offering 50-amp electric hookups and paved driveways accommodating larger rigs up to 58 feet. A sanitary dump station serves RV campers. Beyond camping, the park features the historic James A. Kell Visitor Center in a stone lodge, multiple hiking trails including the partially accessible 2-mile Lakeside Loop, a swimming beach, and electric vehicle charging stations at the boat launch. The park's proximity to Pittsburgh makes it an accessible getaway for weekend trips or longer family vacations.
