About

Loup Loup Campground is located near Loup Loup Pass on the Methow Valley Ranger District of the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest at 4,200 feet elevation. The campground features two sections on different levels: one at road level with spacious sites for car, tent, and RV camping, including some sites on a small grassy meadow that are very sunny; and a lower section below road level with more forested sites. The area provides excellent access to gravel biking on numerous Forest Service roads in the North and South Summit areas, as well as newly developed mountain bike trails on Bear and Little Buck mountains. The campground is also a popular base for fall hunting. Visitors in autumn are treated to spectacular displays of golden Western Larch trees. The location offers quiet forest roads for scenic drives and walking. The campground operates on a first-come, first-served basis with payment available via the Recreation.gov mobile app Scan & Pay feature. Sites accommodate up to 2 vehicles, with a maximum of 2 tents or 1 RV and 1 tent per site. Hand-pump drinking water and vault toilets are provided.
