About

Conconully State Park occupies a spectacular 97-acre mountain setting on Conconully Reservoir in north central Washington. Dating back to 1910 as the oldest Bureau of Reclamation irrigation project in the region, the park has been managed by Washington State Parks since 1945. The park features 5,400 feet of freshwater shoreline and offers access to both the lower Conconully Reservoir and Upper Conconully Reservoir (Salmon Lake). Anglers will find excellent fishing opportunities for rainbow trout, kokanee salmon, and smallmouth bass. The park provides two boat ramps and an 80-foot dock to accommodate motorized and non-motorized watercraft. Beyond fishing, visitors enjoy waterskiing, paddleboarding, kayaking, swimming, and bird watching. The park has beautiful views of forests, creeks, lakes, and mountains. Camping facilities include standard and partial hookup sites in the main area with a maximum site length of 75 feet (limited availability), plus 10 full hookup sites at the upper lake. Five cabins are available for rent near the lower reservoir. The park features five restroom facilities (two ADA accessible), four showers (all accessible), a reservable kitchen shelter with electricity, picnic tables, and a dump station. An early schoolhouse and a replica of the original courthouse remain on the grounds as historic reminders of when Conconully served as the original Okanogan County seat before being washed away by a flood in 1894.
