* WHAT...Stagnant conditions will have potential to trap pollutants near the ground with deteriorated air quality. * WHERE...Chelan, Boulder Creek Road, Republic, Sherman Pass, Tonasket, Entiat, Bridgeport, Number 2 Canyon, Mazama, Wauconda, Number 1 Canyon, Stehekin, Stevens Pass, Oroville, Plain, Loup Loup Pass, Leavenworth, Winthrop, Holden Village, Methow, Nespelem, Pangborn Airport, Chesaw Road, Omak, Wenatchee, Disautel Pass, Cashmere, Brewster, Okanogan, Highway 20 Wauconda Summit, Conconully, Twisp, and Inchelium. * WHEN...Until 10 AM PST Friday. * IMPACTS...Periods of air stagnation can lead to the buildup of pollutants near the surface. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A brief push of northerly winds will arrive down the Okanogan Valley Thursday bringing the potential for temporary improvement to air quality.

J R Campground was formerly operated by the U.S. Forest Service in the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest along Highway 20 in Okanogan County, Washington. The campground has been permanently closed by the Forest Service and is no longer available for camping. The access road to the site is in the process of being decommissioned, making the area inaccessible to visitors. Prior to closure, the campground did not offer drinking water or restroom facilities and had no associated fees.
