About

Upper Conconully State Park Campground is part of the historic Conconully State Park system, managed by Washington State Parks in partnership with the Bureau of Reclamation. The campground underwent significant renovations in 2016-2017, resulting in 11 modern RV sites with full utility hookups including 50 amp electrical service, water, and sewer connections. One site is fully ADA accessible. Nestled in the forested mountains of Okanogan County, the campground sits on the shores of Upper Conconully Reservoir, also known as Salmon Lake. The reservoir is renowned for excellent fishing opportunities, with anglers catching rainbow trout, Kokanee salmon, and smallmouth bass. Boating, kayaking, and paddleboarding are also popular activities on the reservoir. The facility features a modern accessible restroom and shower building, paved accessible walkways, and informational kiosks. While the campground operates on a smaller scale than the main Conconully State Park area, it provides a quieter, more intimate camping experience with direct water access. The surrounding landscape offers stunning mountain views and excellent wildlife viewing opportunities in a peaceful forested setting.
