About

Kerr Campground sits in a forested setting along the North Fork Salmon Creek within the Colville National Forest. The campground provides a rustic camping experience with 12 sites arranged in two loops: 11 single-family sites and one double site that can accommodate larger groups. Each site features a picnic table, fire ring, and designated parking area. Amenities are basic: two vault toilet facilities serve the campground, but there is no potable water on-site. Garbage service is not available at Kerr; campers can dispose of trash at nearby Oriole Campground to the south. A Washington state fishing license is required for anglers wanting to fish the creek. The campground operates seasonally from May 1 through October 27. Quiet hours are enforced between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m., and the maximum stay is 14 days. Pets are welcome but must remain on leash. In winter, the adjacent Kerr Sno-Park provides access to groomed snowmobile trails.

Directions

From Conconully, drive north through town on County Road 2361, which becomes Forest Service Road 38 at the forest boundary. Continue on FS Road 38 for 2 miles to the south campground entrance on the left; the north entrance is another 0.1 mile ahead.
