About
Long Point Cabins RV is a privately operated campground situated alongside Summersville Lake in the mountains of West Virginia. The park offers 20 RV sites with full hookups including 30 and 50 amp electric service, water, and sewer connections. Each site includes a freestanding fire pit and picnic table. The facility accommodates RVs up to 50 feet in length and features a dump station and WiFi throughout. The campground operates year-round and sits adjacent to the Long Point Overlook, one of the most photographed spots on Summersville Lake. Guests have convenient access to the public beach area, boat and kayak launch ramps, and the surrounding New River Gorge National Park and Preserve. Activities in the area include hiking, biking, ATV trails, rock climbing, boating, fishing, kayaking, and whitewater rafting on the nearby Gauley River. Note: This is a private campground, not a USACE or Recreation.gov facility. There is no bath house on site; RV campers use their own facilities. Cabins with full kitchens and bathrooms are also available for those without RVs.
