About
Logging Creek Campground sits in the remote North Fork area of Glacier National Park, approximately 9 miles south of the small community of Polebridge. This primitive campground offers just 7 first-come, first-served sites for campers seeking solitude away from the park's more popular destinations. Access requires traveling the Inside North Fork Road, a narrow, dusty, and winding route where caution is essential. The campground operates in primitive status throughout its season, meaning no potable water or dump station facilities are available. Campers must bring all drinking water. Each site includes a picnic table and fire ring, and dead wood collection for campfires is permitted along the Inside North Fork Road between Dutch Creek and Kintla Lake. Vault toilets and seasonal trash collection are provided, along with food storage lockers for bear safety. RVs and trailers are not permitted due to the road conditions and campground layout. Vehicle combinations longer than 21 feet are prohibited. The trailhead to Logging Lake is nearby, offering an easy family-friendly hike to the lake. Sites are limited to 8 people and 2 vehicles maximum, with a 2-tent limit per site.
